UNIFRUTTI WELCOMES VERFRUT TO ITS GLOBAL PLATFORM AND COMPLETES STRATEGIC ACQUISITIONS IN LATIN AMERICA
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 30/08/2024 – The Unifrutti Group announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of 100% of Sociedad Exportadora Verfrut S.A. (“Verfrut”), a leading integrated fruit producer and exporter with over 7,500 hectares of operations across Chile and Peru.
With the addition of Verfrut, Unifrutti consolidates its grape, cherry, apple and blueberry portfolio, becoming one of the largest table grape and cherry producers in the world, a leading apple player in the Southern Hemisphere and a key fruit platform in Chile and Peru.
The acquisition of Verfrut was signed and announced by Unifrutti in January 2024 and follows the completion of two other strategic deals in Latin America.
Earlier in 2024, Unifrutti also integrated AvoAmerica Peru and Bomarea, specializing in avocado and premium blueberry respectively and complementing the group’s fruit production platform in the region.

Abu Dhabi, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, 30/08/2024 – El Grupo Unifrutti anunció hoy la exitosa finalización de la adquisición del 100% de Sociedad Exportadora Verfrut S.A. (“Verfrut”), un productor y exportador de frutas líder con más de 7,500 hectáreas en Chile y Perú.
Con la incorporación de Verfrut, Unifrutti consolida su portafolio de uvas, cerezas, manzanas y arándanos, convirtiéndose en uno de los mayores productores de uvas de mesa y cerezas del mundo, un líder en el sector de manzanas en el hemisferio sur y una plataforma líder de frutas en Chile y Perú.
La adquisición de Verfrut, firmada y anunciada por Unifrutti en enero de 2024, se suma a la compra estratégica de otras dos empresas en América Latina.
A principios de 2024, Unifrutti también adquirió AvoAmerica Perú y Bomarea, especializadas en paltas y arándanos premium respectivamente, complementando así la plataforma de producción de frutas del grupo en la región.
